Small adjustments can make an image feel brighter, cleaner or more dramatic without opening a full photo editor. This photo filters tool gives you the common controls people reach for most often: brightness, contrast, saturation, grayscale, sepia, blur and invert. Drop in a photo, move the sliders, combine effects and watch the preview update immediately. When the look feels right, download a new filtered image while the original file remains unchanged.
Everything runs client-side with the browser canvas. The page decodes your image locally, applies the selected filter chain during preview and repeats the same settings on the full-resolution export. There is no upload, account, watermark or server-side processing. That makes the tool useful for private photos, quick social drafts, client screenshots and product images that should not leave your device just to receive a simple adjustment.
How to use the controls
Brightness changes the overall light level. Contrast makes dark and bright areas more distinct or flatter. Saturation controls color intensity, from muted to vivid. Grayscale removes color, sepia adds a warm vintage tone, invert flips colors for special effects, and blur softens details. Use moderate values for natural photos: a little extra brightness and contrast often helps, while very high settings can clip highlights or make skin tones look artificial.
Choosing an export format
JPG is usually the best choice for photographs because it keeps file sizes smaller. PNG is better for screenshots, interface graphics, text-heavy images and anything that needs transparency. If you are editing a transparent PNG and export as JPG, transparent areas will be flattened by the browser because JPG has no alpha channel. For important images, keep the original file, export a filtered copy and compare the result at full size before publishing.
Ranges and limits
Brightness and contrast go from 0 to 200 percent, saturation from 0 to 250 percent, and blur from 0 to 12 pixels. The default value of 100 percent means no change, and Reset filters returns everything to that state. The filters are applied to the whole image, so there is no crop, selective editing or automatic enhancement; for local retouching, use a dedicated editor. Try adjusting brightness first, then contrast, and finish with saturation so you can see how each change affects the others.
